The end of the Sabbatical: restart working after five months off

It is Sunday morning. I have two more days of free time. Then I will restart working after a five-month sabbatical. A wonderful time of adventures, new impressions and complete freedom comes to an end. How can I adjust working in a way that it does not overwhelm me in the shortest time, in a way that I stay focused with a clear mind to follow my goals? I prepared myself in the following way:

1) Schedule

I created a precise weekly schedule, including time slots for focussed work as well as time slots for relaxation like lunch break, meditation or sports.

2) Reflecting

The schedule contains daily and weekly slots for reviewing the plan and for adjusting the schedule.

3) Easy start

While the schedule is complete from the beginning I do not expect myself to achieve 100% in the first week. I will need more breaks and that is totally fine.

Being the kind of person that does not need and does not like to be controlled from the outside, the step back to work after such a long time is tough. By actively planning the restart I hope to manage this in a better way. My main fear is that I get overwhelmed by too many different tasks that appear chaotic to me. With the system described above I am sure I can stay in control.
